## Vascular Access Society of the Americas

![](https://agentismanagement.com/_resources/images/portfolio/web/vasa/logo.svg)The Vascular Access Society of the Americas (VASA) promotes dialysis access through educational and research activities designed to enhance patient care and promote the highest standards of medical practice. VASA provides a forum for the exchange of scientific information related to the science and clinical practice of dialysis access.

VASA serves as a unified voice for surgeons, nephrologists, interventional nephrologists, interventional radiologists, dialysis nurses, nurse coordinators, technicians, and individuals involved in dialysis research and clinical care (hereafter “Dialysis Access Professionals”) to advocate on behalf of the field of dialysis access with medical, governmental, professional, and private agencies and organizations to enhance dialysis access research, education, and clinical practice.

VASA collaborates with other public and private organizations with similar interests and purposes to promote educational and research efforts related to dialysis access in order to optimize dialysis access benefits for ESRD patients.
